A Joy to See

Sherri Levine is the anthologizer and editor of A Joy to See: Ekphrastic Poetry based on the artwork of Kay Levine, including prominent poets of Oregon, author of Stealing Flowers from the Neighbors (Kelsay Press, 2021), and forthcoming I Remember Not Sleeping in 2023.  

She was awarded The Lois Cranston Memorial Poetry Prize.

She won First Place (Poet’s Choice) in the Oregon Poetry Association Spring 2018 biannual poetry contest.

Sherri’s poetry and other writing have appeared in numerous journals and magazines including Prairie SchoonerPoet Lore,  The Sun Magazine, Jewish Literary Review, and Worcester Review. 

Sherri teaches poetry and writing classes in Portland and online.

She is the creator and host of Head for the Hills, a monthly poetry series and open mic.
