After an auto accident, Raymond Clark awakens in a medieval castle in the body of a man half his age, pledged to marry a woman he had never met.

He remembers everything about the 21st century but knows nothing about the time he is in.

He is surrounded by loyal supporters. Unfortunately, he also is besieged by an uncle who hates him and a future father-in-law who wants him dead.

The book is about the decisions he must make as he faces the challenges of this new environment.

Can he remain true to himself and still survive in a dark and dangerous world?

Can he do the right thing even if it hard?

Background

There are three reasons people write books:

  • They have a story to tell;
  • they want to make money;
  • or they want to be famous.

The only one of these the author really controls is the ability to tell their story.

This is my story.

For many years, I have found myself asking the question, “what would you if faced with an extreme situation?”

So, I created a world where a person would be faced with difficult decisions.

How the main character responds gave the opportunity to explore the answer to this question.

Hopefully it will allow others to ask themselves, “How would I respond?”
